Summary

Wax Vault is a full Soda-built app product, not just a landing page exercise. Built for collectors who know their records matter but do not want to manage them through half-finished spreadsheets, patchy Discogs notes and memory alone, it combines AI cover and barcode scanning, Goldmine-standard condition grading, valuation ranges, shelving tools, analytics and DJ-focused utilities in one place. It came out of a real collection problem: the need to identify and value thousands of records quickly, accurately and without specialist knowledge. The website supports that story, but the core achievement is the product itself: a collector tool with real utility, real depth and a much stronger point of view than generic collection software.

Challenge

Explain a feature-rich collector product with scanning, grading, valuation, shelving and DJ tools clearly enough for serious vinyl buyers without making it read like software bloat.

Approach

We led with the collector truth first: people want to know what they own, what condition it is in, what it is worth and where it actually lives. From there, the deeper feature set was framed as useful extensions of that core promise rather than a long technical checklist.

Outcome

A fully built product and public launch presence that makes Wax Vault feel credible to serious collectors, clearer to new users and stronger as a premium music-tech proposition.

Deliverables

Website structure
Product messaging
Feature hierarchy
Launch-ready visual direction

Additional gallery assets are still being swapped in. The placeholders are intentional so the structure can launch before every final visual is ready.
