Summary
Wax Vault is a full Soda-built app product for people whose record collections have outgrown memory, notes and half-finished spreadsheets. It turns the phone camera into a collector tool: scan, identify, store, curate and value vinyl without losing the romance of the format. The product wraps AI-assisted recognition, collection management and valuation into something that feels made by people who actually care about records, not generic inventory software wearing a music skin.

Challenge
Create a product story broad enough for everyday collectors and deep enough for serious vinyl people who want scanning, collection and value tools without software bloat.
Approach
We led with the simple collector promise: know what you own, where it lives and what it might be worth. From there, the app experience and launch story were shaped around collection culture rather than abstract productivity.
